We have experienced, passionate, quality Direct Support Professionals that can provide the supports you need to live safely and independently in the home and community settings of your choice.

VITO is licensed by the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS) to provide In-Home, Group Day (Day Support), and Community Supports for individuals with developmental disabilities such as daily living skills, household chores, hygiene routines, money management, shopping, communication skills, adaptive behaviors, community integration, job searches, and other individualized supports you need so that you can live in your home and integrate into your community as safely and as independently as possible.

In-Home Services

• 1:1 Supports in the Individual's home and/or in the community
• Supports focus on vital Daily Living Skills, Age-Appropriate Recreation Activities, Adaptive Behaviors, Communication Skills, Community Integration, and Inclusion Activities, as well as Social Skills
• The goal of In-Home Supports is for the Individual to live the life they choose - the "Good Life" that the individual identified in their annual team meeting
• VITO's DSPs will provide the supports needed so that all outcomes on the Person-Centered Plan can be addressed
• Quality of Life is essential to our programming approach, and Dignity is a value that we hold in high regard!

Day Support / Group Day

• Small group activities in a center with occasional community outings if appropriate
• Supports focus on peer interactions, socialization, adaptive behaviors, communication skills, and inclusion
• Programming emphasizes choices and follows person-centered thinking and planning for each individual
